Ah, that title is a little...on the nose, I suppose.

[She can feel her patience being tried a little as she looks at the poster. She gets it! Gem world has gem titles, but still, it's a bit ridiculous.]

It could be fun though, I'm sure not judging a book by its cover applies to movies as well. Oh, it looks like there's a couple of horror movies as well, but perhaps something less stressful would be for the best?

I don't particularly dislike them, but I can't say I'm a big fan either.

I would say hello. Even if they are my exact opposite, that's no reason to avoid them. Approaching them may even be for the best even if it's not entirely a pleasant experience.

[There's a series of selfies of one Kiyohara no Nagiko with a skateboard. They are mostly of her posing with her skateboard she obtained at some point, except for the last few images where she attempted to take a selfie while performing some sort of trick in mid-air.

Unsurprisingly, the device also managed to capture the moment before she fell with a blurred, panicked look on her face.]

[Once again, she's not sure if this was meant for her. Nor is she sure about that seeming disconnect between the last image and the text. So she'll be mostly polite about it.]

[ It is the only warning Kiara get's before Kama is practically scratching at her bedroom door. She drums her fingers, her nails pretty loudly, and is generally just being fussy in the way that a lazy God can be. ]

Kiara do we have any liquor around or jungle juice? Do I have to get it myself?

[She was about to respond to the text before the assault on her door. For a moment, she really wonders if her counterpart is a god or a cat wanting attention. ...though she supposes at times, the line between the two is rather thin.]

I'm afraid that was it. I rarely keep such things on hand.

[There is a somewhat sympathetic expression on her face when she opens the door, both acknowledging Kama and reducing the chances of it needing to be repainted in the near future.]

Of course if you'd like more, I would be willing to accompany you.

[Because honestly, she could probably use a glass as well. At least a glass. A shame Rosaria isn't here anymore, Kiara never thought she'd particularly need or miss having a drinking buddy around, but as of late, it wouldn't be a bad thing.]

Ugh, of course. We should probably stock up for future bullshit. If I could recreate soma, I would.

[ Kama backs away, her heels actually clicking upon the floor instead of her usual floating. There's some relief to hear that Kiara wouldn't mind going out and getting drinks, since they've both had quite a month.

She stuffs her hands into the pockets of her hoodie, the first article of clothing she's worn comfortably since her arrival. Her next words are surprisingly kind, though a little awkward. ]

Are you... are you okay? I mean you didn't sound it on the net but I wasn't going to pry.

I'll be all right, I have done far worse after all.

[It's a bit touching that Kama asked though...also weird. One of those things she doesn't know quite how to deal with, so she just won't dwell on it terribly much.]

Though it's a bit different from that. I...dislike the idea of not being aware, I suppose. Being so unrestrained through no fault of my own. Were I to give into my own impulses, it would hardly be considered better by most, but at least I would know I'm doing it.

[That's not the only part of it that bothers her, but the rest seems less important. Amusing almost. She can't help but smile a little as she heads for the door, ready to start their shopping trip.]

I suppose that may seem silly given that whatever we pick up will certainly be enough to dull our senses, or to give us some trouble remembering it but at least we'd be the ones responsible for it.

[So here's to getting trashed with her counterpart/rival/and so on and so forth. She has a bit more to say though, she's not quite done yet, so her smile fades there. Not really following that up with the happiest sentiment.]

And...I certainly imagine you've had your share of hardship tonight too. We are capable of so very much, you and I. And to be unleashed on the others without our senses, without the whole of our selves, is so very cruel.

[She won't say that they're worse off than whoever ran afoul of them, definitely not the case. But if she were to be completely blunt, it sucks for them too.]
